Announcement for student Erasmus + KA103 programme

Dear Students,
we would like to inform you about the procedures implemented at the University of Szczecin in order to prevent spread of COVID-19.
All classes are suspended until further notice, university libraries will be closed and we are planning to give online courses from next week on. We will give you more information about online platform in a few days in a separate email. Please note that there’s no possibility to pause/interrupt your mobility for a few weeks, go back home and then come back to Szczecin.
You can however decide to resign from the mobility in the second semester and leave Szczecin entirely, we will issue you a relevant confirmation for your home university. If you decide to do that, please inform us about it by email and also inform your home university about it. Your home university can give you information how that decision will influence your Erasmus+ scholarship and possibility to reimburse you some costs ( so called force majeure case).
You can however decide to resign from the mobility, we will issue you a relevant confirmation for your home university. If you decide to do that, please inform us about it by email and also inform your home university about it. Your earlier departure will influence your Erasmus+ scholarship (the minimum stay is 90 days) however there’s a possibility to apply for reimbursement of some costs ( so called force majeure case), eg. travel tickets, visa, etc. if you have invoices, tickets, confirmation of payment. If you decide to resign from the mobility, I will apply on your behalf to National Agency to reimburse you that costs.

If you decide to stay in Szczecin and continue your exchange, we ask you to:

  • Avoid big gatherings;
  • Not to travel outside of Szczecin, especially abroad;
  • Avoid public transport;
  • Contact International Office, Dean’s Office or Faculty coordinator by email, don’t visit us at the  office;
  • Follow sanitary rules sent to you in our previous emails

Please note that those measures are taken as precautions in order to avoid spreading the virus. There’s less than 30 confirmed coronavirus cases in Poland, there’s no confirmed case connected to University of Szczecin at the moment. All the measures are taken to maintain this relatively good situation in Poland.
